FIFA 19 Attacking Midfielder Wonderkids
If you’re using a formation that requires a CAM, you’ll need an effective player. They’re crucial to every part of your attacking play – passing, set pieces and shooting. That’s why we’ve compiled the top 50 FIFA 19 Attacking Midfielder Wonderkids. All of our wonderkid lists this year contain 50 players, to offer more choice. You might notice that in comparison to other lists, the potential starts out a little lower. This seems to be due to fewer CAMS in the game than say wingers, it just means you need to be more competitive!
FIFA 19 Attacking Midfielder Wonderkids (CAM) – Top 50
50. Callum Gribbin
Can also play on either wing, is left footed and has decent free kick accuracy. Current overall rating is 65 but has a potential of 80.
49. Valentin Castellanos
The New York City FC youngster can also be deployed on either wing. Can realistically hit his 80 potential within a few years and should be affordable given his 63 rating.
48. Elias Abouchabaka
Can also go from 63 to 80, but he’s two years younger than Castellanos. He’ll also work harder at defending.
47. Matteo Tramoni
The third and final 63 to 80 CAM on our list. Tramoni beats the others because of his pace, balance and agility. It doesn’t hurt that he has four star weak foot ability either.
46. Emanuel Vignato
This 80 potential player gives you 4* weak foot if you require that, but his 61 starting rating should make him more affordable.
45. Thiago Almada
An interesting pick if you prefer a shorter CAM that uses his pace and dribbling ability. Unfortunately, he does only have 2 star skill moves. A cheap transfer if he’s still around 60, and should keep growing until he hits 80.
44. Odin Bailey
The Birmingham youngster should be a bargain given his 58 rating and the fact that his contract expires in 2019. He should have no problem reaching his 80 potential.
43. Pablo Aranguiz
Now our FIFA 19 Attacking Midfielder Wonderkids list moves on to those with 81 potential. His 72 overall rating is decent enough, boosted by good stamina, free kick accuracy and sprint speed. He’s also capable of performing four star skill moves.
42. Gonzalo Maroni
Even with just a 69 rating, he’s a pacey dribbler with great passing ability. His contract only runs until 2019 so bring him in and grow him towards his 81 potential.
41. Linton Maina
Rated 67 to start with and can reach 81 some day. Can also play on the right wing, where he can use his dribbling and pace.
40. Kamil Wojtkowski
Already an accomplished dribbler at 67 overall, with a quick turn of pace. Four star weak foot, high work rates and 81 potential.
39. Ilzat Akhmetov
Can also play on the right, where you can put his dribbling and pace to good use. Rated 65 overall with potential of 81.
38. Kevin Soni
This leftie is also a speedy dribbler who can play at LM. Potential of 81 but is only 64 to begin with, but a little taller than most CAMs on this list.
37. Yan Dhanda
Pretty well rounded set of stats for a 63 rated CAM and can eventually hit 81. Not the tallest at 5’8″ but can jump well.
36. Hamed Junior Traore
Can also play at CM and is really more of a playmaker than a goalscorer. 62 overall now but has plenty of time to hit 81.
35. Rafael Camacho
Well rounded and equally comfortable on either wing. Plenty of growth potential on his path from 61 overall to 81.
34. George McEachran
Left-footed playmaker currently rated 59 at Chelsea. Will be controlling games from midfield by the time he hits 81.
33. Guus Til
75 rated playmaker with the Engine speciality. Effective at breaking forward to get on the end of chances and will only improve once he hits 82.
32. Lucas Rodriguez
Versatile enough to play anywhere in midfield. Short in stature but a great dribbler even at 73, some of his other stats should have improved by the time he reaches 82.
31. Joao Carvalho
Solid enough starting rating of 73 and has 82 potential. Four star skill moves and weak foot is an added bonus.
30. Hannes Wolf
A pacey dribbler with four star skill moves. Buy the 19 year old while he’s 71 and reap the rewards when he matures to 82.
29. Lovro Majer
Left footed but has four star weak foot anyway. Majer has 82 potential and the Dinamo Zagreb CAM is currently rated 70 overall.
28. Mauro Junior
Same rating and potential as Majer but beats him to #28 on our FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids for a few reasons. Younger, faster and has great free kick accuracy.
27. Laszlo Benes
The 69 rated midfielder might be flying under the radar at Borussia Monchengladbach but he’s great at short passing and crossing. By the time he reaches 82, a lot of his other stats should have balanced out.
26. Donny van de Beek
Almost halfway through and van de Beek is the first name on our FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids list to have 83 potential. He’s already rated 76 and well rounded, but his long shot ability is a nice differentiator.
25. Yusuf Yazici
You can buy him for his 83 potential but at 76 there’s already a bunch of reasons to like him. Reliable from set pieces, decent stamina and four star skills and weak foot.
24. Matias Vargas
Great stamina, speed and dribbling means Vargas can cover a lot of distance for you. He’s also a capable passer at 72 overall, that should improve as he heads towards 83. Four star skill moves is a nice boost.
23. Josh Onomah
Currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur and can play almost anywhere in midfield. His attributes are well balanced for a 6’1″ CAM. Can reach 83 eventually but is 71 for now.
22. Kieran Dowell
Also has 83 potential but you might be put off by his low defensive work rate. Even at only 70 overall he’s accurate when shooting from distance.
21. Eberechi Eze
We’d describe 68 rated Eze as primarily a dribbler. He can also play CM and LM, but his stats should stand out more once he reaches 83.
20. Dominik Szoboszlai
One of our favourites on the FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids list. 6’1″ and decent jumping ability but not slow by any means. Can also play at CM and contribute goals through his free kick and long shot ability. His 83 potential is the reason you’ll buy him, but it’s hard to believe his stats look this good at only 65.
19. Manu Garcia
From here on in the FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkid list, potentials are 84 and above. Four star skills and weak foot, as well as the ability to play at CM are very handy. At 73 he’s an effective dribbler and passer, he could be a great free kick taker with a little training.
18. Enrico Brignola
Smart positioning means it’s no surprise that Brignola can play on the right wing or even as a centre forward. Only 70 right now but will be at a top team before he reaches his 84 potential.
17. Sebastian Szymanski
Always worth buying a player with 84 potential if you can get them while they’re still only 67. He’s a reliable crosser, which is useful as he can also play on either wing.
16. Rafik Guitane
At 5’5″ he’s lightweight and speedy. Currently rated 66 but by the time he hits 84 a lot of his other stats will shine through.
15. Nicolo Zaniolo
Also a 66–84 CAM, but edges Guitane because of his high attacking work rate and the fact that he’s 6’3″.
14. Roberto Lopez
The Sociedad midfielder also has 84 potential, but 64 starting rating affords you a massive 20 growth points. Dominant on his left foot but should develop into a nice playmaker.
13. James Maddison
Leicester’s 76 rated man is already an able goalscorer from long shots and free kicks. 85 potential and four stars for both weak foot and skill moves.
12. Nicolas Benedetti
Can already operate comfortably as a playmaker with his 73 rating. We expect some other important attributes to develop before he hits his 85 peak.
11. Ben Woodburn
Can also play LW or as a striker. If you choose the latter, you might want to train his shooting attributes. A real hidden gem at 68, but will get noticed long before he reaches 85 overall.
10. Takefusa Kubo
We’re finally into the top 10 FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids, and Kubo is a great pick. Rated 64 currently, has four star skill moves, weak foot and fantastic acceleration. Can play in any attacking role and will be deadly at 85 overall.
9. Mason Mount
Starting out at 75 overall means his growth won’t be as significant, but his 86 potential is higher. The Chelsea loanee already has a well rounded set of stats and four star weak foot.
8. Giorgi Chakvetadze
The 73 rated CAM has some good foundations but his speed and dribbling are going to be key. Should be able to grow into an amazing 86 rated player.
7. Sergio Gomez
Even at 68, the Dortmund youngster has quality passing and dribbling attributes. His price will increase rapidly as he grows towards his 87 potential, so snap him up early.
6. Sofiane Diop
Has the excellent balance and agility you would expect from a 5’5″ player. A great investment at 66 overall as he’ll be one of the world’s best if he reaches 87.
5. Angel Gomes
Just like Diop, he’s 66 overall and has 87 potential. Gomes had to take the #5 spot because of his marginally better attributes and four stars for both weak foot and skills.
4. Ante Coric
Impressive that he’s already rated 76 at just 21 years old. Many of his attributes will be world class by the time he reaches his 88 potential.
3. Phil Foden
Into the top 3 of the FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids. No surprise to see the Manchester City youngster here, considering how highly he is rated by Guardiola. Unlikely to be a bargain at 73 but you’ll thank yourself when he’s an 88 rated world beater.
2. Kangin Lee
Beats Foden to the #2 spot because of his 70 rating. He’s also an excellent dribbler with four star skill moves and very accurate from free kicks. The South Korean’s 88 potential is too good to pass up.
1. Kai Havertz
Kai Havertz is the best of all FIFA 19 attacking midfielder wonderkids. He’s a decent height but still has bags of pace and is fantastic at dribbling and passing. His shooting stats are by no means poor and are only helped by his five star weak foot.
