Fastest Players in FIFA 21

Got the Need for Speed?

In years when pace rules the FIFA meta, you can’t do without it. Even when that’s not the case, it’s supremely satisfying to leave a defender in the dust, or rush back and kill off a counter attack. Whether you call them fast, quick, rapid, speedy or swift, we’ve rounded up the (objectively) fastest players in FIFA 21. If you’re unsure of the difference between the two pace stats we reference, we recommend you give our FIFA attributes guide a read.

Fastest Players in FIFA 21 – Top 50

Arvin Appiah (RM LM) 64 OVR

Kicking off our list of the paciest, speediest and fastest players in FIFA 21 is Almeria’s Appiah. 92 acceleration, 93 sprint speed and a mouthwatering 84 potential.

Martin Boyle (RM RWB ST) 70 OVR

Jumping up to 93 sprint speed and 93 acceleration now, and it only gets better from here.

Luis Advincula (RB) 74 OVR

This Peruvian right back also has 93 for both sprint speed and acceleration. He is 30 now, so might start to decline and lose his pace.

Mathis Bolly (RM LM ST) 67 OVR

If you’re looking for 93 acceleration and 93 sprint speed, Bolly might be a more affordable option.

Kensuke Nagai (ST) 69 OVR

The first out and out striker on our list, he will be cheap but his 93 speed and acceleration will decline rapidly.

Álvaro García (LM RM) 72 OVR

93 sprint speed and 93 acceleration. 27 years old so should hang onto those numbers for a few years at least.

Abdoulay Diaby (RM LM) 75 OVR

At 29, he’s right on the edge where you can just about hold onto his physical stats for a few seasons. An impressive 93 for both pace attributes.

Thievy Bifouma (LM RM) 74 OVR

If you need a pacey winger, Bifouma’s 93 speed and 93 acceleration will do nicely. Only has two years left on his contract with Shenzhen FC.

Héctor Villalba (RM LM RW) 74 OVR

His profile picture should be enough proof that he means business. 93 for both attributes, plus four star skill moves is a nice bonus.

Hirving Lozano (RW ST LW) 80 OVR

A versatile forward, Lozano matches the previous name for speed and acceleration. On top of that he has a 90 agility attribute and even better, a potential rating of 83.

Gyrano Kerk (RW ST) OVR 75

Doesn’t quite have the same agility as Lozano, but can equal his 93 acceleration and 93 sprint speed. Can grow by 5 to an 80 rating.

Sirlord Conteh (RM) 62 OVR

Yes it’s a step down in overall rating, but we like to cater to everyone – not just those who can afford a squad of 90+ players. He is a really affordable option for those shopping at this level, plus he has a potential of 67. 93 for both stats again.

Trent Buhagiar (RW CAM) 62 OVR

His rating can rise to 68 eventually, meaning he might even increase his sprint speed and acceleration stats (both 93).

Allan Saint-Maximin (LM LW ST) OVR 80

Already lighting up the Premier League, he has 93 sprint speed, 93 acceleration and even 93 agility. Given his 86 potential, Newcastle might have a job holding onto him

Rabbi Matondo (LM ST RM) OVR 70

One of the first really exciting names on our list of the fastest players in FIFA 21. Bear in mind he’s only 19 years old and has a potential of 83, so don’t be surprised if his acceleration (93) and sprint speed (93) grow further.

In Seong Kim (LM CAM) OVR 71

You won’t see any growth from this player, but he does have 92 acceleration and an impressive 94 sprint speed.

Takeshi Kanamori (ST LM) 62 OVR

Depending on your situation, Kanamori could prove a better option than Kim. Also has 92 acceleration and 94 sprint speed but he’s only 26 so won’t lose his pace for a few years.

Lirim Kastrati (RW LW ST) 69 OVR

Lots of good stuff in the Kosovan’s profile, even without taking his acceleration (92) and sprint speed (94) into account. Only 21 and will add another 10 points to his overall rating in time.

Leroy Sane (LM) 85 OVR

Surprisingly low on our list, he has the highest sprint speed so far with 95, but only 91 acceleration. However, he’s still an incredible player who will hit 90 overall before long.

Jérémy Doku (RW LW) 71 OVR

Let’s start by pointing out that his sprint speed is only 91, but his 96 acceleration means he’ll get up to full speed faster than others. He also has massive growth potential, he’ll hit 88 some day and you better hope you don’t have to play against him.

Rhayner Santos Nascimento (RM) 69 OVR

Unlikely to hold onto his stats for very long, but you’ll still get a good season or two tearing defences apart with his 94 acceleration and 93 sprint speed.

Yony González (RM ST) 75 OVR

You can get a solitary growth point from him, so he won’t soar in value. At least his sprint speed (93) and acceleration (94) will hold steady for a few years.

Georges-Kévin Nkoudou (LM) 75 OVR

Never really got going in the Premier League but his 78 potential means he’s still worthwhile. Another name with 94 acceleration and 93 sprint speed.

Kingsley Coman (LM RM RW) 85 OVR

The second Bayern Munich winger on this list, we also expected Coman to be a little higher. In any case, 94 acceleration and 93 sprint speed more than qualifies him for the speedster speciality and if you can afford him, he has 88 potential.

Hwang Hee Chan (ST) 77 OVR

The Leipzig striker might already be on your shopping list because of his 82 potential. If you still need convincing, his acceleration is 94 and his sprint speed is 93.

Rafa Ferreira Silva (LM RM) 83 OVR

Switching the two numbers around, the Benfica winger has 93 acceleration and 94 sprint speed.

Rashad Muhammed (ST) 60 OVR

A big drop in overall rating but at that level, his pace is going to be unstoppable. 93 acceleration, 94 sprint speed and 61 potential.

Frank Acheampong (ST LW) 76 OVR

Only has a year left on his contract and still has a little room to grow, so could be a cheap way to acquire a player with 94 sprint speed and 93 acceleration.

Iñaki Williams (ST RW) 81 OVR

Offers more than pace but 93 acceleration and 94 sprint speed are the reasons why he’s on this list. His 84 potential makes him tempting but you’ll have to pay a premium, he’s contracted to Athletic Bilbao until 2028.

Falaye Sacko (RB) 78 OVR

So far, most of the fastest players in FIFA 21 have been wingers and strikers. A right back with 93 acceleration and 94 sprint speed, Sacko could be a fantastic addition to your team. 83 potential means he’s only going to get better with time.

Sebastián Villa (RM RW LM) 75 OVR

This Colombian winger possesses 94 sprint speed and 93 acceleration, not to mention 81 potential.

Przemysław Płacheta (LM) 69 OVR

Norwich have a very impressive player here, another speedster with 93 acceleration and 94 sprint speed. He’ll be cheaper if you can buy him before he hits his 79 potential.

Krépin Diatta (RW LW ST) 77 OVR

Changing things up a little bit, the Club Brugge forward has 95 sprint speed and 92 acceleration. Considering his 85 potential, he could be a starter in your squad for years.

Sadio Mané (LW) 90 OVR

Truly an incredibly player. At 28, he should hold onto his 95 acceleration and 93 sprint speed for a few seasons. Absolutely rapid, but he’ll cost you in the region of £100m, if not more.

Chidera Ejuke (LW) 75 OVR

Can match Mané’s 95 acceleration and 93 sprint speed, but will be about a tenth of the price. A great investment because of his 82 potential.

Nikola Mileusnić (LM RM) 65 OVR

If you’re managing in a lower level league, we really recommend Mileusnić. There aren’t many speedsters at this level, having 94 for both pace attributes is incredible. He should be an absolute bargain because his contract is running. out.

Tom Barkhuizen (RM ST) 72 OVR

If you need 94 acceleration and sprint speed, but need a slightly higher level player, find this guy at Preston.

Igor Madinha (RM CAM) 72 OVR

No official growth potential but he’s still only 24 so could still improve. Another player with 94 for both stats but he’s likely to be more expensive than Barkhuizen.

Gelson Martins (RM RW) 79 OVR

You’re not going to get this guy from Monaco on the cheap, but if you desire 94 acceleration and 94 sprint speed in a top level player, Martins is your man. Still only 25 and has the ability to hit 82 after a few seasons.

Aurélio Buta (RM RB RWB) 76 OVR

Another winger with both 94 acceleration and 94 sprint speed. Buta might be the best option so far considering his 81 potential and the fact he has one year left on his contract.

Achraf Hakimi (RM) 83 OVR

Because we value sprint speed over acceleration, Hakimi’s 95/93 comes in ahead of the 94/94 club. It feels like Hakimi has been around for years, but he’s still only 21 and has an impressive 81 potential.

Leon Bailey (LM LW) 80 OVR

95 sprint speed and 93 acceleration, but will be cheaper than Hakimi. Bailey would provide an excellent outlet for you on the wing and will keep growing at least until he hits 85 overall.

Moussa Diaby (LM LW) 81 OVR

Just like Bailey, Diaby is a left winger who plays for Leverkusen. However, he starts out slightly higher and has a much higher ceiling (88). His pace stats are also slightly different, with 93 sprint speed and 96 acceleration.

Ismaïla Sarr (RM ST) 78 OVR

Potentially more affordable but still carries the promise of an 87 rating eventually. 94 sprint speed is one of the best we’ve seen so far, 95 acceleration means it doesn’t take him long to get up to full speed.

Aníbal Chalá (LB) 69 OVR

The last out and out full back we’ll see this high up the list, he has an insane 96 sprint speed and 93 acceleration. Not the highest rating but can reach 76 soon enough.

Vinícius Jr. (LW) 80 OVR

Won’t be cheap, but you might not care. Has 95 for both his sprint speed and acceleration but his 93 potential means he has so much more to offer.

Daniel James (RM LM CF) 77 OVR

Marginally faster than Vinícius Jr thanks to his 96 acceleration on top of 95 sprint speed. Won’t reach the same heights but 83 potential will be plenty for some teams.

Kylian Mbappé (ST LW RW) 90 OVR

Not just one of the fastest players in FIFA 21, but one of the best in the whole game. A 96 rating for both pace attributes makes him absolutely unstoppable. His 95 potential might make you consider buying him, his contract situation means he might be more affordable than you’d expect.

Alphonso Davies (LB LM RM) 81 OVR

Canada’s main man also sports a 96 for both attributes, probably more affordable than Mbappé but not cheap. Only 19 years old, he has plenty of time to fulfil his 89 potential.

Adama Traoré (RW RWB) 79 OVR

The Wolves man is top of our list, and deservingly so. A sprint speed of 96 and 97 acceleration is bad enough, add his 87 strength to the mix and he’s literally a juggernaut. He has plenty of technical ability too and looks set to improve thanks to his 85 potential.
